We believe that taxes should be low, fair and simple, and that we should all remember that there is no such thing as &#8220;Government money&#8221; &#8211; only taxpayer money. We want our taxes to deliver good value-for-money for the people of Mann, giving good value for essential community services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our History<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2021, we thought it was about time that someone stood up for the &#8216;little guy&#8217;. For too long, vested interests have dominated our island&#8217;s policy discussions, so we are providing a voice for mainstream Manx taxpayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Independence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We will absolutely take advantage of great ideas from across the world, and use them to make our island an even better place to live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, we have no legal or formal relationship with other similarly named organisations elsewhere in the world. The Manx TaxPayers&#8217; Alliance is independent of the <a href=\"http:\/\/worldtaxpayers.org\/\">World Taxpayers Association<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taxpayersalliance.com\/\">TaxPayer&#8217;s Alliance (United Kingdom)<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taxpayers-europe.org\/\">Taxpayers Association of Europe<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taxpayer.com\/\">Canadian Taxpayers Federation<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taxpayers.org.au\/\">Australian Taxpayers&#8217; Alliance<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steuerzahler.de\/\">German Taxpayers Federation (Bund der Steuerzahler)<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taxpayers.org.nz\/\">New Zealand Taxpayers&#8217; Union<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ntu.org\/\">National Taxpayers Union in the USA<\/a>, and similarly named organisations elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsibility for any electoral comment is taken by Michael Josem on behalf of the Manx TaxPayers&#8217; Alliance at 1 Hillary Wharf, South Quay, Douglas, IM1 5BL.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Manx TaxPayers&#8217; Alliance is the grassroots Manx campaign for Our Mission The Manx Taxpayers&#8217; Alliance fights for the interests of mainstream Manx taxpayers.
